The Kin Clubs of Stettler have a long history of supporting many different causes locally, usually focusing on youth-based initiatives. Currently our clubs have undertaken a substantial project of upgrading the Rosedale Neighbourhood Park & Playground. Located immediately behind the Canalta Hotel, this park has been in dire need of an upgrade for many years and we are very excited to finally breathe some new life into the playground, the park, and the neighbourhood.

Park plans include Stettler’s first accessible playground, identified as a priority need for our municipality and surrounding area. This new facility will provide a playground experience for people of all ages and abilities. Along with the playground equipment itself, park access will be made easier with paved pathways as well as a paved loading zone for those with limited mobility. Landscaping upgrades are also in the plans including many new trees to make the park more welcoming during the hottest parts of the day.
